Pictures can tell better story than words this time. We were visiting Dover Castle today while the weather was really perfect and the views from up there were completely amazing. Dover Castle is located on the hill, therefore allowing you to view ferry port as well as Dover town itself very well. The castle itself is located in the centre of territory, surrounded by thick medieval walls and many spaces to sneak in and explore this significant structure of English Heritage. There are several cafes, so you can grab and ice cream with coffee or some snacks, however they may be running out of resources towards the second half of the day. There is plenty of parking space at no extra cost while normal adult ticket was £20 to enter the castle territory. Just a quick reminder: English Heritage membership holders enter for free with their membership cards!

As there are plenty of things to walk around and explore there, we decided we’ll come back to historic Underground Hospital Annexe, Medieval Tunnels and few other things the next time. Today we walked around the castle, explored some tunnels and paths around, as well as looked at Port of Dover from above and nice panoramas in general.
