The long Easter weekend was approaching and I didn’t have any good plan however I was sure I wanted to get away from London. While weather wasn’t very pleasing, going on a roadtrip to Netherlands seemed an attractive idea. I booked a ferry ticket for the very early morning few days in advance and… let the joyrney begin.

Roadtrip to Netherlands

Ferry company’s email suggested Easter weekwnd travel to suffer from delays, however 7:25 seemed quite a good time for ferry, moreover traffic appeared to be really lighter than expected. Around half hour queue before the tickets check and shortly after we were good to go.

Sun was already up when we sailed away from UK and a bit more than hour later car’s wheels were touching French tarmac. Around four hours of highways and we were already in Den Haag, drinking tea with one of my closest relative!

Keukenhof flowers and Spring

While the sun was suggesting we wouldn’t go wrong by going outside, we have decided to check out how is the Spring doing in the famous Keukenhof tulip gardens. Last days of March may seem to have been still a bit early for this place and many flowers are still waiting to bwgin their bloom. However if you’re unsure if there will be enough blooms to see during Easter I can assure you – there will.

I let my pictures from the Keukenhof tulip gardens to continue my story. Please continue with a gallery below.
