Yes, my background is technical, but AI is not artificial intelligence in this blog post – it is “all-inclusive”.
This time we have decided to go for all inclusive (AI) holidays to Turkey. The region we chose was Antalya and one of the big hotels with its’ own attractions, swimming pools, beach and everything else the hotel could offer. We have been always travelling actively and I was sceptical about AI vacation in Turkish hotel. However I feel I was not completely right about it. While you’re based in the same place all the time with loads of food and sunbathing time, it sounds quite boring, but… Your kid always has a place to play, and after you have enjoyed few lazy days and feel rested enough you may rent a car and start exploring neighbour towns and places.
How not to regret your “all inclusive” holidays
I have been walking around the dining area for few days now, trying to pick something to eat, and I couldn’t stop noticing people’s eating habits and overweight while here in Turkey and probably mostly because of all inclusive in general. While you most likely don’t want to gain unwelcome weight, feel active and energetic, you should probably not eat with style “all you can”. Judging by the travel agency insurance notices about food poisoning and seeing reality how people eat I think it is not about bad food, is about bad choices. Taking 3 full plates of different foods and struggling to get up off the table… While instead I personally think dealing with food in a less harmful way to your body would be to choose a single dish or two for a meal, AI is AI and these plates will be there every day, food won’t run away! Be picky, pick only the very favourite dish for your meal, don’t forget vegetables and water. Control your appetite for desserts and quantity in general. AI is AI and I’m almost sure all hotels can offer gym, therefore you don’t need to give up your exercising routines. Just go there and do it. From my personal experience is much easier to push yourself to exercise if you have written yourself a plan. You go there, you don’t need to think “what am I doing now?”, you just need to follow the bullets list. To my fortune the gym was always empty whenever I went there during my AI holidays in Turkey.
While staying in the hotel and laying near the pool reminds me a life of seals, that I’ve posted before, next post will be about our short exploration of Antalya.
