One fine Sunday afternoon we went out exploring castles again. After putting some missing ticks on Dover Castle and it’s important history of tunnels, we then arrived to Walmer Castle – relatively small, but beautiful with an amazing garden behind it. Full of cannons and thick walls facing sea direction, hides beautiful green spaces you can take your shoes off and enjoy a walk on the grass.
Walmer Castle does also have couple of cafes within it. Offering some snacks, desserts and drinks. One is on the ground floor, the other on the terrace with cannons.
