When a trip takes not an hour, but more like three and there is nobody to distract me, I would like to call it meditation drive. However this gallery is not about driving, it’s about greenery, fresh air, and picturesque landscape. As I’m writing this post, outside it’s still above 30 degrees, was 38 during the day here in London today. And while looking at those pictures, they remind me of early morning and cool refreshing air up somewhere in the Peak District National Park.
Think Time
London is a fast paced city, so is the work environment and the whole life. We keep chasing our goals, dreams and rushing all the time to make progress. Therefore I think it becomes crucial to have a break, settle down, look around and think about all that’s happening and what you want to happen next. It’s called think time. I knew I wanted to have this time, however, I’ve done this quick trip quite spontaneously. Dropped my beloved ones at the airport and instead of driving home, at 7 AM I was already walking in the greenery and enjoying fresh air & landscapes.
Surprise View
Many miles on the motorways and finally curvy roads with the view begin. Not a long drive until I notice a parking lot where I stop and step out for a walk. Signs suggest that there must be a nice view if I keep following the path up the hill. The place called Surprise View. Pictures do speak for themselves, but the most enjoyable bit was to sit on the top of a cliff located on the hill and relax. So refreshing, so relaxing, so good. The moment of settle down that we all occasionally need. I recommend everyone having their own think time.
